Another award-winning collection: Vision receives the Grands Prix Du Design 2023
The Vision collection by Rexa, designed by Studio Monica Graffeo, after winning the Big See Design Award 2023, clinches the title of Grand Winner - Grands Prix Du Design for introducing a completely innovative concept for the bathroom, offering new user experiences where functionality and sensoriality come together, creating a harmonious ensemble tailored to the individual.
The Canadian recognition, now in its 16th edition, celebrates the excellence and talent of creative professionals who stand out through exemplary practice, involving candidates from various sectors - including architecture, interior design, product design, branding, and photography - from over 35 countries.
Another success for Rexa, awarded for its vision, quality, and skill in bringing to life, together with the designer, this innovative concept, tailored to human needs: "Vision evokes a totem, where one finds harmony between body and soul, between the sensoriality of materials and the functionality of objects. This reflects Rexa's ability to continuously evolve its concept of bathroom furniture and transform it into a cutting-edge system designed around the individual," says Marco Diana, Sales Manager of the company.
With its monolithic architectures of dramatic effect, achievable by choosing from multiple dimensions and a rich range of finishes and materials (including gres wood, Fenix®, Eco.malta, and Corian®), Vision transforms the wall into a container of functions by integrating washbasins and concealing equipped and customizable technical compartments with accessories, trays, electrical sockets, hairdryer holders, to offer the utmost rationality and flexibility with an essential and elegant aesthetic.
Through the sum of suspended modules sculpted with reduced depth (18 cm), Vision creates compositions that appear as containment volumes with a great visual impact, giving space to the surrounding environment. Columns, wall units, mirror cabinets, flap doors that become support surfaces: all elements are designed for infinite configurations, micro-architectures to design one's own personal vision of the bathroom environment.
"The harmony with Rexa arises from a shared inclination to look beyond, while maintaining a strong sense of practicality. Thus, Vision was born: a project that focuses on shallow containment and develops with vertical proportions, incorporating the washbasin and leaving space free to better experience the environment and to find things exactly where we need them, not in the second or third row, but everything in the foreground," says Monica Graffeo, designer of Vision and creative director of Rexa.
